Some of the ATT routers also provide you with UPnP feature. To enable this feature launch a web browser from your computer or mobile which is connected to your router. Enter the router name and password if not changed, enter the default name and password to log in. select Advanced and then click on Advanced setup and then your AT&T UPnP router setting would be enabled. The final step would be to select the UPnP checkbox and you are all set to go. It assumes local programs and trustworthy and allows them to forward ports. There’s no right choice as to whether you should keep this feature on or off.
You can also select your network on the router. On the official website, go to settings. Select advanced settings. Under more options, select port forwarding. Now, select add port forward. Sometimes you might encounter ATT router port forwarding not working. It is unable to set a port forward for a device that is using static IP. Here is a simple solution on how to fix it. In this case, remove the static IP in the gateway admin tool and then try forwarding it. You should now be able to forward the router port.
