Windows 8, 7, Vista, 10

  • For the Windows 8, 7, Vista, 10 users, the very first step is to shut down QuickBooks
  • Click on windows start tab, right click on computer and press manage
  • After that, hit services and applications
  • Double click on services
  • And then again double click on Intuit QuickBooks FCS
  • Now, select startup type drop down and select manual

  • Hit apply
  • And select start and hit ok
  • Open QuickBooks
  • And then download the QuickBooks desktop product updates
  • End it, by updating payroll tax tables

Windows XP

  • The windows XP user needs to exit QuickBooks
  • Right click the My computer and select manage
