Recently, Bank of America filed a lengthy document that mentions that crypto will undermine their business of tracking and surveilance requirement under the Banking Secrecy Act.  https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/70858/000007085818000009/bac-1231201710xk.htm

JP Morgan recently announced they are producing JPM coin. Media outlets and people are in a frenzy. A fud article titled by Barron's reads, "JPMorgan Just Killed the Bitcoin Dream" has upset a lot of cryptocurrency supporters. The reality is that the JPM coin can be  sumarized as, "the same shit, on a different stick" and will likely have little to no impact in the general crypto space. JPMorgan's coin is simply a private centralized blockchain and is the opposite of what the cryptocurrency b...

The SEC wants to regulate Decentralized Exchanges. This is one of the most stupidest thing I've heard in a while. Just as Crypto Currencies have said, "F**k-U" to the banks, the same will be true for centralized exchanges and the parasites (SEC, FINRA, etc...) that rely on them to stay alive. “You never change things by fighting the existing reality.. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.” - Buckminster Fuller

Regardless of how well you hone your craft, if you can't be bothered to educate yourself on how to utilize available financial tools then: a) you will always be a slave and b) you will always be poor. Metaphorically and otherwise. It's that simple. https://www.crypto-city.com/index.php/hyperstake-hyp-ann/info

I can now confirm that the rumor you’ve heard are indeed true and the communications systems are in the pipeline. However, I do not have a finite date as to when it will be implemented as of this writing. Given that we are are trying to replicate the real world economies based on crypto, we want to make sure that we have a rock solid platform with the majority of bugs worked out of it before we start throwing more stuff on top of it. So needless to say, the communications system will not make in...

Doing some insightful analytics:  So, my daily activities, checking emails, watching YouTube, scrolling through social media (Facebook, twitter etc...)  generates an average of $ 0.0475 / day in Ads revenue. Extrapolate that per person and we can get a rough idea of what social networks or ad based companies make.

After decades of avoiding any and all Microsoft's browser products, I've finally found a good use for it. No, it's not for browsing the internet, Since I don't like or have the time to read books, I use the Microsoft Edge browser to read books aloud while I am doing work throughout the day and it works reliably well for that specific task compared to other products..

175 watts is the total power being pulled from the grid. 1 x 128 core server and 2 routers.  Half of the solar panels being shaded by 5pm.  I can probably  squeeze more power from the panels and bump the efficiency up a bit if I switch to the enphase 240v micro inverters instead of the current single string 125v grid tie inverter.

So, I was looking to pick up a new server as an addition to the ones I have at home. I can get a 16 core that'd suck-up 840 watts idle. After looking at the trusty 8 server I've built a few years back I am reconsidering my initial decision. The server I've built still running today and draws only 160-180 watts at full throttle. I figure I can build 4 of my own system to give me 32 cores and would only draw about 640 watts. The inconvenience is that I would have to source each component. The...
