Baccarat, a casino card game, is very popular. It was first introduced to France during Charles VIII's reign, between 1483 and 1498. It is similar in style to Faro or Basset. The first two variations require players to make choices, which is a form of skill. In the third, however, the game is purely based on luck and chance.
This game can only have three possible outcomes. There are three possible outcomes: Banker, Player and Tie. The terms are not referring to individuals, but rather options that customers can choose. In a baccarat game, the cards from 2 to 9 have their face value, while the King and Queen, the Joker, and 10 have a value of 0, and the Aces are worth 1 point. The 'tableau,' or 'table of play' will determine if more cards need to be dealt. The game ends when the banker reaches a total of 8, or 9. The hand with the most points wins. The croupier will call 'Egalite,' which means 'tie-bets win', if the banker and player have the same total.
Mini-baccarat is the name of the game when played on a smaller table similar to those used for Black jack. The entire game is handled by a single dealer. Makccarat is also the same game, but with a vastly altered version. In American baccarat only two hands can be dealt, regardless of how many players are present. The 'player/banker' whose score comes closest to 9 wins.

A, J, K and Q are all 0's. All other cards have their face value.
You drop ten if your total exceeds ten. A 7-9 total hand is 6 (16, remove ten).
There is no "bust" or "smashed" hand.
