Boot Camp

H35-582 Boot Camp is an intense 13 weeks of physical and mental training for recruits preparing to serve in the United States Marine Corps. The training is a challenge, but one that is designed to prepare you for the hard and difficult tasks you will face throughout your tour of service.

During boot camp, you’ll learn to rely on each other and form strong, lasting bonds that will stand the test of time. You will also find a fighting spirit inside that will refuse to quit, no matter what the challenges.

The Crucible

The Crucible is the toughest part of Marine Corps Recruit Training, which combines physical training with simulated combat and field exercises. This is a 54-hour day and night test of endurance that will challenge you mentally and physically. You will perform in a confined area with little sleep or food, and you will have to rely on each other to complete the task at hand.

It is through this challenging experience that you will gain the strength, physical and mental ability to perform in the Army, Navy, Air Force or Marine Corps. This training will give you the confidence and courage to serve our Nation and fulfill your life’s purpose.

You will be rewarded for your hard work and dedication when you receive the Eagle, Globe and Anchor. You will be proud of what you have accomplished, and you will feel a great sense of purpose that will drive you to do your best every time.
