He's got a great idea. I was thinking he could use bamboo so it would grow as a natural flotation plant that would eventually hold the entire island together. The bamboo grows rapidly so the island would naturally expand, he would just need to guide the direction of the growth.

If I was in an area with water, I'd be crazy enough to build it. haha

this guy is brilliant , we have the perfect estuaries on vancouver island to build those... not sure we'd be allowed tho
