First-year coach Joe Moorhead has a system thats clicking on both sides, and it has been a clean transition for a team that took Alabama to the limit last season. If Mi si sippi State wins its next two games, at Kentucky then at home in Dan Mullens return to Starkville with Florida, then the Bulldogs will undoubtedly be ranked in the top 10 when they go through the meat of the SEC West. Nov. 10 is a long way off, too, but that gives Moorhead more time for that first date with Bama.Mizzou wants Georgia!SELL. We are looking forward to the shootout between Jake Fromm and Drew Lock, two quarterbacks with bright NFL futures. Fromm has the second-highest QBR in the SEC behind Tagovailoa, and averages 10.4 yards per pa s attempt. Lock is a high-volume pa ser with 11 touchdowns and one interception. The Bulldogs escaped Columbia with a 28-27 victory in 2016 and won a 53-28 shootout Markelle Fultz Jersey last year. The good news is the Big Ten East still has Ohio State and Penn State, and Indiana is still undefeated. Coaches rarely get fired after just one season, but the heat is going to be on Taggart because right now this team looks incapable of reaching the postseason. Keep in mind the Seminoles have the longest-standing bowl streak at 36 consecutive seasons. Hes averaging 344 total yards of offense per game with 10 total touchdowns, and hes the undisputed offensive leader with Rodney Justin Anderson Jersey Anderson out for the season. Murray is on pace to at least follow three-time Heisman Trophy finalist Baker Mayfield to New York: Through three games last year, Mayfield put up 1,033 yards of total offense and 10 touchdowns. Murrayhas 1,032 yards and 10 touchdowns. Hell have competition from West Virginias Will Grier, but Murray might be the front-runner now.Pac-12 is trash!BUY AT HALF PRICE. The Pac-12 North has four undefeated teams in Stanford, Cal, Oregon and Washington State. Washington might be the best team, and they have one lo s. Thats going to be riveting watching that play out, beginning with the Cardinal traveling to Autzen Stadium this week. The lone unbeaten team in the Pac-12 South is Colorado. USC and UCLA have combined for a 1-5 record and are out of the College Football Playoff picture three weeks into the season. The Trojans could still claw back in the Pac-12 race Clay Helton has done that before but life after Sam Darnold will take more time to adjust to.Notre Dame is a pretender!SELL. The Irish shook off an upset bid from Vanderbilt at home, and thats three one-score wins in three weeks. Brandon Wimbush didnt turn the ball over, however, and Notre Dame remains undefeated with three wins against teams that will be in the postseason. The next three weeks are crucial in building a playoff resume. The Wilt Chamberlain Jersey road trip to Wake Forest is tricky, and then back-to-back matchups against Stanford and Virginia Tech loom large. Those two teams will be ranked, and Notre Dame might not face another one the rest of the season. The Irishs last six opponents have a combined record of 10-8 through three weeks. Syracuse is the only unbeaten team on the back half.BYU deserves your respect!BUY. Given the Cougars were coming off a 4-9 season, who thought they would be able to win at Arizona and Wisconsin in the first three weeks of the season? If not for a field goal lo s at Cal, there would be even bigger conversations about BYU. The Cougars still have road games at Washington, Boise State and Utah. The school has managed to put together a tough schedule in every season of the College Football Playoff era despite the undesirable go-between perception between Power 5 and Group of 5. When the next round of conference expansion happens in the Power 5, theres no reason why BYU cant be one of those members.
