VMFS disks

To restore files and folders from a VMWare virtual machine, you need to find the corresponding file (or files) on the disk of the VMDK virtual machine. VMDK is a file format used by VMWare, VirtualBox, and some other virtual machines to refer to virtual hard disk files.
