Nope. it did that (took three hours) and is out of sync again and when I reload it syncs and then never syncs again. I have litecoin and bitcoin wallets galore I have never seen this issue
I've not experienced that issue. Could you share your system setup and how you're connected to the internet? (OS, router/firewall, wireless, etc...)
