After months of speculation and lots of slotxo rumors, Nintendo has officially announced the next generation of its popular gaming console: the Nintendo Switch OLED model. This is a refinement of the 2019 version compared to the rumored more powerful "Switch Pro". (and may still be released)

On sale for $350 starting October 8, the aptly named Nintendo Switch OLED model is the next iteration of what has become one of the best-selling consoles of the past two years. It comes with a 7-inch 720p OLED display,

a new dock with a wired Ethernet port. and an updated stand that seems to take direct cues from Microsoft's Surface Pro tablet. It also has 64GB of built-in storage, up to 9 hours of battery life, which is on par with the current Switch, and a "sounds better" feature.

Enhanced” for handheld or tabletop play. Sadly, despite ongoing rumors of 4K support, OLED models only support 1080p resolution when connected. Obviously Bluetooth support and improved CPU will have to wait too.
