The California Exit Tax is basically an attempt to keep everyone in Californa by holding people to ransom that would follow them for 10 years. This is beyond dumb and will only result in the acceleration of more people fleeing a tyranical system's attempt at a money grab.

However, what it really means is not because thing are more expensive, but rather the #dollar paper #fiat money is now worth less and less.
