Benefits of OSRS game
I don't see a new 1-1 RuneScape be a success, however I can see one that is built from the same concept, but with a modern version. Because boss fights and raids in OSRS gold are relatively simple in comparison to other MMOs due to it being a clicker game.
I'd love to see an MMO copying OSRS skilling, questing, and gearing. The greatest thing about OSRS is the synergy the majority of skills have with the game and the simplicity of it.
Unlocking mining iron ore mining at LVL 10 means smithing iron bars/items begins at 10 LVL. Locking the logs of woodcutting to an LVL of 40 allows you to unlock a fletching maple bow at LVL 40 and LVL 40 is the maximum range to wear a maple bow. As the game is doing such well with this, pair it with there being limited gear that doesn't limit skilling at all.
And another benefit that OSRS does not throw equipment at your face is that you will be able to quickly recognize with looking at the stage every PC is in simply by what they wear. Also, I am impressed with the way OSRS handles item level .... through not only being able to use it in the game. Everything is the requirement for level + stats bonus and that's all there is. It's much better than contemporary MMOs which keep increasing the level with every expansion. This means they are just gonna drown you in gear.
I really like the OSRS way of making stat boosts on new equipment. This means you can still do the new content at a high level, but there's no BiS gear anymore, I think modern MMOs can benefit a lot from this because that means players can grind for BiS and then quit the game for some time and come back and still have the ability to get the new content because the level requirement isn't an issue, the gear they grinded just turned into the second best slot equipment and there's no prerequisite for level for the raid.
It also means that it doesn't get flooded with gear and older gear is still current. It's pretty casual-friendly. Also, I like how the bosses and raids don't provide gear to every class for example, the boss of a raid will give BiS mage gear. You have to fight another boss for buy RS gold
. Like compare it with Ff14, which has three levels of raiding, and a total of 3 different sets of gear for the roles, there are 9 sets to introduce and if you're using OSRS it's only 3.
