XTC wanted to produce a couple of documents to pay gratitude to Psychedelia, however it wouldn't jive making use of their electro disco grooves. Stick The Dukes of Stratosphear. They were a blip on the screen, issuing a mini-album ("25 O'Clock") in 1985 and a complete length ("Psonic Psunspot") in 1987. One little sweet artifact: in the credits of XTC's "Skylarking" album, the group thanked The Dukes for loaning them their guitars.Suggested tunes: "What In The World?", "Your Gold Dress"

A short-lived band, active between 1981 and 1988 (but also recently reformed in 2012), The Water Parade got from the Paisley Subterranean world in Los Angeles. Jangly guitars rule the selection, harking to early Green Floyd, The Who, and mid-career Beatles. A little more toned down, however good inspirational music. Inspiration for what? You be the judge.***Suggested songs: "I Look Around", "Search Both Ways polkadot mushroom chocolate"

Mainly notable for the teaming of The Cure's Robert Smith and Siouxsie and the Banshees' Steven Severin, this really is New Wave Psychedelia. Named after the flying glove in The Beatles' "Yellow Submarine" film, The Glove put out only 1 album, "Orange Sunshine", called after the horror film of the exact same name in which people take a form of LSD called "Blue Sunshine" and carry on a murder spree.Suggested songs: "Orgy", "Punish Me With Kisses"

Among the weirdest in this bunch. LPD are an Anglo-Dutch band formerly from London, moved to Amsterdam. They've released 40 pictures, all virtually out of the mainstream. But, they do have a subsequent and visit regularly. Their 80's result is mostly synthpop based Psychedelia. Ideal 80's/60's crossover.Suggested tunes: "Sleezo", "Wall Purges Night"Another Paisley Undercover group and light emitting diode by David Winn, the Syndicate was an 80's version of The Velvet Underground.
